SanMar to Carry Eddie Bauer Outerwear

Adds Icon of the Outdoor Lifestyle to Extensive Brand Portfolio

Seattle, WA – July 18, 2012 – SanMar® Corporation, a leading industry supplier of apparel and accessories, today announced an agreement with Eddie Bauer whereby SanMar will add select Eddie Bauer® outerwear styles to its product offering, starting in August 2012. SanMar will also carry select products from the First Ascent® collection, Eddie Bauer’s highest-performing and functional outerwear. In all, SanMar will offer a combined 27 styles, with plans to add additional Eddie Bauer products in the future collections. 

Founded in Seattle in 1920, Eddie Bauer is an icon of the outdoor lifestyle, offering premium-quality clothing, accessories and gear to outfit today’s modern adventures for both men and women. First Ascent builds on that legacy, offering world-class expedition and ski wear created with some of the best mountain and ski guides in the world.

Among the Eddie Bauer products available at launch will be jackets and shells, fleece and layering pieces for various weather conditions and several First Ascent options for him and her, designed for the most rigorous environments. 

“Eddie Bauer is a legend in American sportswear. They were the first to patent several influential down outerwear pieces and outfitted the first American to summit Mt. SanMar will preview the Eddie Bauer and First Ascent styles at the ASI Chicago show starting today. The line will also appear in the 2013 Apparel, Bags & Caps catalog and on sanmar.com.
